We are looking for an accounting technician to manage accounts receivable at a prestigious law firm located in the heart of downtown Montreal.
The Accounts Receivable Technician will be responsible for managing the collection of accounts receivable from the company's various accounts. In addition, the person will have to collaborate with team members to support them in their daily activities while ensuring the smooth running of the company's activities and operations.
Role and Responsibilities
-Manage the process of collecting customer payments accurately and efficiently;
-Follow up on accounts receivable and resolve payment issues;
-Manage, organize and archive documentation;
-Ensure that relevant information is properly recorded and accessible;
-Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure efficient operation;
-Any other miscellaneous task related to the collection process.
Requirements
-Relevant experience in an accounting, finance, secretarial or other relevant experience position of at least 4 years;
-DEP or DEC in administrative techniques - Accounting option or other relevant study;
-Good command of French and English, oral and written (asset);
-Good knowledge of common computer tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Adobe, etc.);
-Autonomy, priority management, stress management, communication, initiative, team spirit, customer orientation, visionary to see business opportunities;
-Ability to make decisions, do various tasks and manage unforeseen events;
-Reliability, punctuality, sense of planning, good judgment, sense of priorities, ease with teamwork.
