One of Canada's largest business law firms is looking for a Document Support Assistant for its Montreal office.
Tasks
-Proofread and verify documents (formatting, spelling and grammar in French and English);
-Produce, format, modify, redact, convert, assemble and print various documents (procedures, reports, PowerPoint presentations, organizational charts, Excel spreadsheets, graphs, PDFs, etc.);
-Create various complex and voluminous documents of a legal or other nature by transcription or scanning;
-Ensure the printing and assembly of various documents for production in court;
-Perform information research (scroll, SEDAR, CANLII, Enterprise Registrars);
-Offer reformatting solutions and advice on the presentation of documents according to the firm's standards of excellence;
-Maintain lines of communication with the various stakeholders regarding the production of their documents and their requirements;
-Deliver quality and precision work within the allotted deadlines;
-Any other related tasks.
Qualifications
-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite functions (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
-High level of bilingualism, spoken and written (French and English)
-Good learning ability and desire to keep one's expertise up to date
-Organizational skills, attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
-Team player and excellent interpersonal skills
-Excellent customer service
-Great autonomy, flexibility, versatility and ability to work under pressure
