This internationally recognized law firm is looking for a person to act as a Human Resources Coordinator. This position offers exciting opportunities for career advancement!
Role and Responsibilities of the Position:
- Assist the marketing team with the preparation of the advertisements required for sponsorship activities carried out with law faculties or student associations and committees;
- Process sponsorship invoices from student associations and committees or law faculties;
- Assist in the organization of all recruitment activities taking place at the firm or in law schools, including ordering food, reserving rooms, following up with participants and organizing the required materials;
- Register the firm for civil law faculty career days and coordinate the logistics surrounding participation in these events;
- Publish the job offer and process a large volume of applications received in the context of the internship course (main recruitment period) as well as co-op recruitment;
- Assist in the organization of activities related to the internship race, including interviews, documentation for interviewers, welcoming candidates, as well as the various events and follow-ups during the process;
- Assist in the planning of the reception, training and integration of summer students and interns, including the calendar of social activities for summer students;
- Process student registration and tuition fees with the École du Barreau and communicate with the École du Barreau on this subject;
- Assist with the preparation and communication of the documents required by the École du Barreau for registration for the articling period, the evaluation of articling students and admission to the Roll of the Order;
- Assist the Human Resources team with background checks for interns and summer students;
- Assist with the organization surrounding the arrival and departure of summer students and articling students;
- In collaboration with the Marketing/Communications team, ensure that the firm's Instagram page is up-to-date and active for the Montreal office;
- Update website information for the Montreal office;
- Update the budget allocated to recruitment;
- Assist with the follow-ups and evaluations of interns and students in the Montreal office;
- Participate in other projects or perform other tasks in the office.
Education and experience required:
- College diploma (DEC) or university diploma in a relevant field;
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience;
- Master of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in English and French;
- Excellent customer service;
- Reliability, creativity, professionalism, punctuality, team spirit, interpersonal skills and discretion;
- Ability to manage emergencies and prioritize tasks;
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously;
- Flexibility and availability to work overtime on occasion during peak periods, if necessary;
- Experience in a large law firm (asset).
Job Benefits:
- Hybrid mode, 4 days in the office.
- Vacation weeks/year: 3 weeks to 5 weeks, depending on experience.
- Paid overtime.
