This growing law and notary firm is currently looking for an accounting clerk who will act with professionalism, dynamism and motivation to contribute to the success of the administrative team. Responsibilities
-Perform accounting data entry, journal entries and update customer information in the accounting system;
-Enter and verify received invoices, payments and financial transactions in the accounting system;
-Calculate, prepare and issue documents related to accounts, such as invoices, statements of account and other periodic reports;
-Monitor customer and supplier accounts, and make the necessary reminders;
-Respond to requests for information from lawyers and notaries, maintain good relations with lawyers and notaries and solve problems;
-Prepare the various monthly conciliations;
-Filing tax returns;
-Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and financial reports;
-Collaborate with the team to optimize accounting processes;
-Perform various office tasks related to accounting and/or administration.

Qualifications
-Hold a degree in accounting, finance or a related field;
-Previous experience in accounting (4-5 years) or bookkeeping;
-Knowledge of the Juris Evolution software (an asset);
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word);
-Excellent communication and organizational skills;
-Ability to work independently, with tight deadlines and as part of a team;
-Excellent attention to detail and a good understanding of basic accounting principles;
-Fluency in French and English (spoken and written);
-Good management of priorities and deadlines.
