This renowned company in the import-export field and located in Ville Saint-Laurent is looking for a Sales Assistant.
You will receive training to become a sales representative in the medium term, a position that will require you to travel several times a year (Caribbean, Central America, etc.).
Job Description:
- Assist the trader
- Respond to customer inquiries
- Enter orders into the computer system
- Place orders with suppliers
- Ensure the follow-up of customer orders
- Research new products/suppliers (Canada, USA, Asia)
- Create new products in the IT system
- Update price lists
- Track inventories
- Prepare pro-forma invoices to customers
- Assist the billing department on an ad hoc basis
Job Requirements:
- Excellent bilingualism and grammar (especially in English)
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Sales/customer service experience - an asset
- Experience in transit (logistics) - an asset
- Experience in international trade - an asset
- Experience in import/export - an asset
- Knowledge of SAP, Sage or Oracle, a strong asset
- DEC
- Have a driver's license and a vehicle
